The Keepers of the Order of the Chalice

The Path Between
Who knows how the world works? Who can see what
is unseen. Who knows that which is unknown?

A Mage

There are those who might posses the ability to wield
Magick, through their very nature, like Faeries or even
Dragons. Then there are those that gain the
knowledge to tap into primal forces of the cosmos
and bend those forces to their will. These are the
Mages (or Magi) of DragonWynde.

You can call yourself a Sorcerer or Witch or Wizard,
but to be called Mage, you must become
a Master of the Order of the Orion.

The Order’s purpose is to promote and display the aesthetic of the fantasy
Mage as well as teach one or more of the old paths of "true" Magick!
Be it Tarot, or Rune stones or the meditative techniques of Zen

There are different disciplines, such as divination, alchemy and elixirs. It is possible to become
a Master of an individual discipline, but if you can master three, you become a Master of the Order -
an Arch-Mage. A discipline master is allowed to take an apprentice for that discipline, but
until they attain Mastery of the Order, they are still considered an apprentice of the Order.

The Order is named for Orion Papajurast, a Mage of reknown throughout
the history of the Realms, dating back to times older than can be remembered. He created much
of the Magicks used by Magi today.
He still dwells within the Tower on the Isand of Storms, though he can travel to any of the Towers
located within DragonWynde.

Prerequisites: Mastery in the Order of the Chalice and
at least one AOH and an Auron in the Arcanum sciences.

The accouterment of Apprentices for this order is a red sash.
The accouterment for Arch-Mages of this order is a purple sash.
