The
Knight's Pledge
A
Knight is sworn to Valor.
A Knight is sworn to Honor.
A Knight's heart knows only Virtue.
A
Knight's Sword defends the helpless.
A Knight's Might upholds the law.
A Knight's Wrath undoes the wicked.
A
Knight's words speak only Truth.
Justice, tempered with Mercy.
To
this I pledge my troth, and I do give the blood this heart pumps
to my King, my Queen and my Kingdom,
All of which I now swear to protect from this day forward.

Codes of Chivalry
The life of a Knight is one of unending service, and should never be entered into lightly.
It is not for those who seek glory for themselves, but rather for their King and Kingdom.
In all that a knight does, he/she should consider its benefit or harm upon themselves, their King
and their Kingdom. The first charge of a knight of the realm is to serve and defend the King and to enforce
his will for as the squire is to the knight, the knight is to the King. Second to this charge, a knight must
always be true to the following codes:
Honor
Conducting oneself with integrity regardless of circumstance. To stand by ones words and actions.
Never to bear false witness under any circumstance. Never use greater force in honorable combat.
Always act justly and fairly even to the detriment of ones self except when protecting the life of the King.
Fealty
To be willing to give life and limb for King and Kingdom. Loyalty to the
King above all else. Always be true to the King’s word and will.
Prowess
One must always practice and teach excellence in the art of war (i.e. – combat, strategy, weapons,
tactics), as well as display this prowess on the field and in academic endeavor.
Courtesy
What separates the Knight -in the ideal- from the rest, is following rules of courtesy. This isn’t
simply how one should eat, or how one should dress, but also in how one should treat others.
One should always treat lessers as equals, equals as betters, and betters with reverence.
To always practice manners and respect in endeavors. One should always be ready to do whatever
is needed by and for King and Kingdom. Always remember to temper justice with mercy.
Humility
Realizing that you are just one small part of a larger world. Do not brag, nor boast of your own deeds,
rather allow your actions to speak for themselves. Accept rewards and praise without pride. Let each
work according to his/her best, no matter how small or how great.
Valor
Having unyielding courage in the face of danger. This does not mean to be foolhardy.
Know which battles should be avoided. Also, know when to break off a conflict.
Faith
The unerring belief in yourself and your King. A government may fall, a philosophy may be
destroyed, but this “infinite” can never be destroyed. The knowledge that, by looking within and
drawing on yourself and you King, ALL things are possible.
