The King's Law of Steel
In DragonWynde, Live Steel is permitted to be carried at events that take place
on Private Lands. If an event takes place at a Public location, such as a County or
State Park, live steel is permitted, but it MUST be "peace tied".
However...
There is a limit as to WHOM may bear live steel (or boffer versions in Public Areas),
as they enter Court. The only Citizens allowed to bear live steel in Court are:
His Majesty • Knights • Warlord
King's Champion • Kingdom Champion • Court Guards
note: If called before the Court, Guards shall surrender their weapons to an alternate guard. Upon
being dismissed from Court and resuming their station, their weapon shall be returned.

Should a blade be needed for a ceremony, it must first be cleared by the King.
MOST IMPORTANT
If you wish to show a blade that is sheathed, or wish to try swinging a NON-BOFFER
mace or flail, you MUST first say in a loud, clear voice, "CLEAR!"

There is NO reason for a real blade or weapon to be wielded by anyone.
That is why boffers are used. There is to be no fooling with weapons.
We allow steel to be worn for aesthetic purposes only.

There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy in regards to this. ANYONE who disregards
this shall be ejected from the event immediately, and may face disciplinary action.

The King's Laws of a Mundane Nature
We obey ALL mundane laws as covered by the Counties & State of New York
as well as all Federal laws .
At after-event revels, if there is alcohol present, those who partake will surrender their keys to the host
immediately, unless they have a designated driver. However - permission is the sole discretion of the
host / property owner. If they say NO drinking at all, then we will honor that request.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING DURING THE EVENT OR COURT.

If we are camping, and IF we are PERMITTED to have drink, you will surrender your keys to the Seneschal.
We will have to check on this, as most campgrounds PROHIBIT alcohol.
Needless to say, nobody under 21 will be allowed to drink.
If a Citizen (or guest) shows up to ANY event or gathering in an
OBVIOUS STATE of "reduced capacity", for ANY reason,
they will be made to leave immediately.

We reserve the right to go so far as to REVOKE Citizenship, and to bar
attendance from future events for behavior unbecoming a Citizen of DragonWynde.
